About Us
Rose Park Norwood (RPN) Scout Group caters for Joey’s, Cubs and Scouts.
The Joey's cater for children from school age of 5 to 7, Cubs 8 till 10 and Scouts from 11 to 14.
ACTIVITIES:
This question is often asked and the answer is; activities will depend on the age and section that the child is going to join. The young children have an emphasis on learning through fun activities and games. In scouts, camps and outdoor activities are used to induce a sense of achievement and self-confidence through groups called patrols.
Children will be introduced to many sports, crafts and areas of knowledge they may not have attempted in other organisations. The leaders for each Section can explain the badge system and how it benefits the children at different levels.
MEETING DAYS AND TIMES:
Cubs meet at the
hall on Tuesdays at 7.00pm until 8.30pm.
Joeys meet at the hall on Wednesdays at 6.30pm until 7.30pm.
Scouts meet at the hall on Thursdays at 7.30pm until 9.00pm.
